Your time
John 7: 8 Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast; for my time is not yet full come.
The Jews were looking for Jesus around this time ,they wanted to kill him before his time so Jesus hid himself and limited his movement to around Galilee . He did not go to Judea. John 7:1 After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him.
But his brethren did not understand all this so they told him to go out and show himself to the world . John 7:4 For there is no man that doeth any thing in secret, and he himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou do these things, shew thyself to the world.
The Bible says. They did not believe him . Jesus did not listen to their advise of going out to show the world what God was doing through him. He did not listen to them to display his strength . 6] Then Jesus said unto them, My time is not yet come: but your time is alway ready
7] The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.
Jesus was able to discern the time for him to move . He did not listen to the advise or suggestion of his people to go out before the time . He waited ,till He was convinced of the right time . And when he finally appeared at the feast,his movement confused the enemy who has been waiting to arm him .
As a child of God ,the devil and the host of darkness hate what you stand for . They hate the light you carry and that is why you must follow the example of our Lord . Jesus did not exposed himself to danger, He knew the situation was not conducive for him so He stayed till the road was clear. You must be sensitive to the leading of the HolySpirit as you move around in your service unto God knowing fully well that the,world hate what you stand for .
Atimes it is difficult for some to believe that they are not loved by every body . As we pray ,Jesus also told us to be watchful . That is ,to watch to know what the Spirit of God inside of you will say . Watch to move at his command . Don’t be sentimental as to please man when the Lord is asking you to do otherwise . Many children of God have ignorantly walked into trap because they wanted to please men ,they don’t want to offend them ,so they foolishly do things contrary to what the spirit is telling them .
If you will live long in peace and fulfill God”s purpose for your life ,you must learn to say NO to anything that is contrary to the will of God without any apology to any one . That is how to be strong in the Lord . That is the way to avoid every ploy and tactics of the enemy to kill either physically or spiritually . May you not die before your time . May you live to fulfill God”s purpose in Jesus name .
Prayer: Lord help me to be sensitive to your leading in every area of my life and ministry in Jesus name .
