The Gospel Nigerian smartphone film maker, Oladipo O’fresh who is known for his prowess in the Smartphone film making has revealed why he prefer shooting movies with Smartphone to shooting with cameras.

He disclosed this in an exclusive interview with Gospel Film News recently.

One of his breakthrough was the OH MY CHILD musical video by Jaymikee, O’fresh shot the video completely on his smartphone.

O’fresh noted that his decision to start shooting with Smartphone started in 2017 when he ran into huge debt after shooting a movie with camera and other equipment.

He stressed that: “I have shot many films on smartphones, infact I have a whole playlist on my YouTube channel dedicated to them. Shooting with a smartphone was a decision I made after my experience in 2017. I ran into debt with all the heavy equipments I filmed with back then and my phone was the only option I had to continue making films. A few years down the line it got better and if I can get a really good quality from it why not, It’s a way I encourage other filmmakers that they can film with what they have and more importantly I know God opened my eyes to this.”

Oladipo O’fresh is one of the best Nigerian smartphone film maker with multiple awards, he shot his recent film Mummy of IB City on the lastest iPhone 13 pro max, the film will be premiered on the 26th of December at The Stone Church in Mokola Ibadan Nigeria, Gospel Film News can confirm.
