It was a wonderful experience yesterday 24th January 2021 at the movie premiere of “Jailer.”
The movie was first premiered at Ibadan last week. The Lagos premiere took place at Redeemed Christian Church of God, Master’s Place, Gbagada as audience observed COVID-19 prevention.
Gospel Film News gathered that the high and mighty in the Redeemed Christian Church of God including the the National Overseer of the church of God, Pastor Joshua Obayemi were present. Representing Mount Zion Productions at the Premiere were Damilola and Joshua Mike-Bamiloye.
Jailer is a movie that deals with salient practical life issue such as unforgiveness, etc. Jailer was well applauded by the audience in terms of message, storyline, picture quality amongst others. The movie kept audience glued to the screen till the end of the screening as the auditorium including the gallery was filled to the brim.
At the premiere in Ibadan, the story writer, Pastor J.F Odesola noted that the gospel should be preached by all means and drama has become a major tool to reach out to Large number of people.
Odesola stressed that People sited for more than one hour to watch the movie, Jailer that if it were to be sermon people would have been loosing concentration but drama hold people down. He believed that drama is doing a lot even at this end time and equally encouraged pastors to be involved and assist their Church Drama Groups to do more.
Pastor Odesola is passionate about preaching the gospel and he’s ready to preach the gospel through any available means. He has over 150 book titles to his credit and 4 Doctorate Degree, and a Professor of Divinity.
Speaking with Gospel Film News, the Coordinator of Faith Lift Productions, Evang. Adenike Aderemi-Fashikun noted that she couldn’t hold back her tears during the movie premiere in Ibadan as the movie touched her despite she was on location during the shooting of the movie.
