Opportunity for filmmakers: Film Marketing, Distribution Summit holds in Lagos

A great opportunity has been opened for filmmakers especially producers in the gospel film industry. A Film Marketing and Distribution Summit is coming up in Lagos.

The summit which will hold on 14th December, 2019 by 10am is to open the eyes of filmmakers to better and easier ways their produce (films) can be marketed and distributed.

In a chat with the organizer, John Oguntuase disclosed to Gospel Film News that the focus of the summit is on New Strategies, Promotion, Networking, The Selling Factors, Platforms and Accessibility.

Speakers at the summit include Mimi Bartels. Mimi Bartels Co-Head Distribution and Production – FILM ONE. She spearheaded the distribution of top 10 Nigeria movies : The Wedding Party 1&2, A Trip to Jamaica, Chief Daddy, Merry Men, 10 Days in Sun City, Alakada Reloaded and more. The CEO of Kayshow Concepts ( Nigeria’s foremost Digital Marketing Agency), Gabriel ‘Kayshow’ Showole, Film Director and Joseph Duke are also part of the speakers. Joseph Duke is a Film director , Head of Production Golden Effect Pictures . His wealth of academy credentials can be traced to London Film Academy, International Film and Broadcast Academy. (IFBA), Lagos Film Institute (LFI). Action
Film Academy (AFA), National Film Institute, (NFI) an affiliate institution with the University of Jos (UNIJOS).

Oguntuase also told our news men that the summit is scheduled to hold at 43, Adedoyin Str., Off Ogunnusi Road, Aguda B/stop, Ogba Ikeja, Lagos. Registration fee is seven thousand naira (N7,000).
