What happened at the film outreach of Evangelical Vineyard Outreach Ministries, EVOM yesterday is what could be described as open heaven.
Gospel Film News correspondent who was live at the scene reports that the film outreach which was held at Zion Cathedral, Maranatha Chapel in Ibadan was held yesterday 19th of January, 2019. Prior to this, an outreach of such was held a day before, 18th of January at a Redeemed Christian Church of God in Ibadan.
Our correspondent says people were spurred into fire brand prayers after which the latest film of EVOM, ‘On Strike’ was shown. The move left several people on fire for God and made many rededicate their commitment to God.
‘On Strike’ is a movie that encourages believers not to give up on God especially in their work for Him no matter their challenges, portraying that God has a special package for workers in His vineyard.
The movie outreach which started with an opening prayer ended with series of life transforming prayers and Altar calls led by Evangelist Shola Mike Agboola.
Earlier in his remarks, Evangelist Shola Mike Agboola noted that the film outreach at this time is a strange one, saying the ministry usually go around to hold film outreach with their latest films after which the film has been released in the market, but it is a different ball game with ‘On Strike’ movie as the movie is going round on outreaches before it was released for sale.
Agboola disclosed that this was based on instruction from God. He stated that Ibadan city is the first place the movie, On Strike is coming for outreach.
The respectable Drama Evangelist who thanked the host church especially the clergy in charge, Bishop Makinde Alawode for hosting his ministry also invited the entire congregation for the 30th anniversary of EVOM which will come up in April, 2019.
