The Vice President of Mount Zion Faith Ministries, Pastor Joseph ‘Yemi Adepoju has stated that one of the dangers of Christianity is to think some sins are bigger than others.
He said this while preaching at the Drama-Music Dynamics programme organized by Peace Alive Drama Ministry on Friday 16th April, 2021 in Ibadan.
Adepoju added that sin of any form is sin, saying it’s unfortunate people see Fornication or Adultery as bigger sins but see Pride, Envy, Strive, Unforgiveness, etc as small sins, Gospel Film News correspondent reports.
He stressed that offenses will come but forgiveness is the antidote, noting that forgiveness is a process of exhibiting pardon to those that have offended you. He reiterated that if you don’t forgive others, God will not forgive you and that is the core of Christianity not speaking in tongues.
In his preaching, Adepoju emphasized that unforgiveness will not allow some partake in rapture, adding that Forgiveness is not an option, but a command and if you don’t forgive you are giving Satan a loophole to attack you.
He further said ways of forgiving is to release the person (offender) from your heart and doing that requires the grace of God which you must ask from God, thereafter Communicate with the offender, let the person know you have forgiven him/her.
