“Dark Moment Episode 2” is a part of twists and turns, unveiling many hidden things from the past in the lives of its protagonists. As much as possible, I won’t be giving away key details, but I can tell you that the stakes are raised in this episode.

An important lesson I picked from it is the importance of being under spiritual mentoring with a corresponding teachable heart. Young believers need to heed to corrections early, because if they later become leaders in the faith and exhibit these character flaws, the name of the Lord would be evil spoken of.

Nike’s attitude thus ceases to surprise me as there is a clear fault in the foundation of her Christianity and has unfortunately, chosen to remain a spiritual babe.

The main message of “Dark Moment” might have just come to the fore in this episode – the way believers handle wounded soldiers in the fold. This is an important matter that does need to be addressed as examples are rife of the ill-treatment of backslidden Christians, which contradicts the love Jesus instructed us to have towards one another and consequently, drives such fallen into the deceitful hands of the world. The point being made in this series is that dark moments in our lives and ministries should be handled with wisdom, so as not to weaken the faith of others.

I agree with that need for wisdom; Jesus Christ said though, in Luke 7:35, that it is proven right by its results. From the evidence presented so far, I question the application of that wisdom by the late G.O and his wife. He confessed his misdeed to his wife, but that restitution would only have been complete if it included Bayo. With the secret uncovered, were things better or worse? To me, Bayo’s suffering from this knowledge was only swept under the carpet for him to experience much later. Also, Mummy G.O. had to cook up a story to get access to ‘her daughter’, and that’s how it is with lies – you always need to frame another to cover the previous. Perhaps, in episodes to come, we’ll see the full results of that ‘wisdom’ that directed them.

The proverbial grass which suffers from this delayed elephant ‘fight’ makes a decision at the end of Episode 2 that propels the plot forward. What will be the end of it? We’ll know more when Episode 3 comes out on June 18, 2023, through Converter Movie Production YouTube channel.
