Mount Zion Institute Sets National Record, Graduates First Set Of Diploma Students In Performing Arts (Christian Drama)

History will ever remember and be kind to Mount Zion Institute of Christian Drama led by Evangelist Mike Bamiloye as it graduates first ever set of Diploma in Performing Arts (Christian Drama) in Nigeria, Gospel Film News can authoritatively confirm.

This was made possible with the collaboration between Ajayi Crowther University and Mount Zion Institute of Christian Drama. The convocation ceremony was held at the main campus in Oyo on Thursday December 8th, 2022.

While reacting to this great feat, the Provost of the Institute, Evangelist Mike Bamiloye noted that  it was a long Journey to set a pioneer pace in an Academic Course that has not be taken in any Academic institution previously, and now being Championed by MZI and AJAYI Crowther University.

He therefore congratulates the Ninety-Six (96) Pioneer graduands, adding that the students went through numerous tedious class lectures, many individual practical works, various group works, eight (8) live theatrical productions which are stage adaptations of these Movies namely;
– ESIN AKOJI
– CAPTIVES OF THE MIGHTY
– APOTI ERI
– THE GODS ARE DEAD
– COVENANT CHILD
– PERILOUS TIMES
And 2 Public Presentations:
– NIGHT OF IJALO
– DARKEST NIGHT

According to him, the students also wrote One (1) Major Long Essay (Thesis), and ten (10) Online Research Works.

The graduands includes notable Gospel filmmakers like Adedeji Adekusibe Victor Olukoju, Segun Badejo, John Oguntuase, Felix Bankole, Mojisola Ogunlana, Tobi Olumuyiwa, Sunday Adetoro, Olumide Oki, Omolara Ayoola, amongst others.
