Filmmakers in Badagry Sets To Produce Outstanding Film Through Partnership, Fosters Unity

Gospel Filmmakers in Badagry, Lagos State have teamed up to shoot an outstanding film which will help foster unity among them and see the need for partnership to produce quality films.

Gospel Film News gathered that the movie is titled ‘Gen Z’ and will be shot from 5th to 8th September, 2024.

The initiator of the project who is a resourceful make up and special effect artist, Paul Eniola Aremu in a Release said “10 years ago, the Lord gave me this vision but I really don’t want to do it, after 5 years the burden was clearer. Still, I had series of excuses. Two years ago, I couldn’t reject it any more. I began to look for opportunities to do it. And today with the help of great mind from Badagry drama minister and film maker the vision came to be.”

He stressed that among other benefits, the benefit this project will bring is Collaboration, bringing out good actors who will be the face of Christian film in Nigeria and raising more film crew members from Badagry, Lagos State.

According to Aremu, the film project will also help drama ministry (film makers) in Badagry to produce film with little resources from them through partnership, have a unify YouTube channel that can help to push our film without sentiment, raising known faces in film making from Badagry.

On this film project are professionals who are making waves both locally and internationally. He added that this project is supported by Evang. Femi Adebile (FEJOSBABA), Evang. John Oguntuase, Evang. Bukola Omolola, Evang. Tolu shoneye, Evang. Seun Adejumobi, Evang. Israel Okiki amongst others.
