The remains of late drama Missionary and gospel actor, Evangelist Wole Olayiwola has been finally laid to rest.

Gospel Film News correspondent present at the burial service reported that the deceased was buried Tuesday 19th December 2023 at Shagamu cemetery after a burial service was conducted at The Redeemed Baptist Church, Ibafo Ogun State.

Meanwhile, a Christian wake keep was done in honour of the deceased on Monday 18th December, 2023. He passed on to glory at age 57.

In his message titled ‘Death; a Great Reliever and comforter for a child of God’, Rev. Dr. O.E Ajetunmobi noted that the reason death is scary is because of eternal punishment, loss of control of earthly possessions etc.

According to him, death is what everyone created by God is scared of. He therefore stressed that death is an exit door for a child of God, not the final destination, it’s like a safeguard for the righteous, it is an opportunity to see Christ face to face.

The cleric further stated that the deceased has an understanding of His ministry on earth. He therefore challenged the congregation that “going to church doesn’t take you to heaven but having an encounter with Christ.”

Drama Ministers present at the event included Kolade Segun-Okeowo, Adedeji Adekusibe, Joseph Yemi Adepoju, Stephen Eniayewun, Sunday Adetoro, Isaac Afolahan, Tolu Shoneye, Zion Media Connection, Emmanuel Oye, Dotun Elkanna, Johnson Oladoyin, Hopo Emmanuel, Ife oyedunmade, Babatunde Oreniyi, Taiwo Adewole, Toyin Gilbert, Ibukunoluwa Babarinde, Evang. Duyilemi Olatunji Ogunlowo, amongst others.

Late Wole Olayiwola, until his death, was the president of Living Bread Evangelical Ministry, and a teacher at the Mount Zion Institute of Christian Drama.

He is survived by wife, children and siblings.
