A celebrated actor and movie director, Evangelist Daramola Kayode Babalola popularly known as Kaybabs has bid farewell to his father who lived to a ripe good age of 85years, Gospel Film News can confirm.
In a poignant ceremony held today on Friday 26th May, families, friends and well-wishers gathered at Iwo Road Baptist Church to bid farewell to Late Pa. Joseph Olapade Babalola who is the biological father of famous filmmaker, Kayode Babalola.
Information available to Gospel Film News gathered that Late Mr. Joseph Olapade Babalola was a beloved octogenarian who touched countless lives during his time on earth.
The funeral service celebrated the remarkable life, accomplishments and enduring legacy of Joseph Olapade Babalola, ensuring that his memory lives on in the hearts of those who attended.
The atmosphere inside the church was filled with a mix of grief, celebration and reverence, as congregants found solace in the fact that he is in a better place, for to be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord.
Drama Ministers and Gospel Filmmakers trooped out in their numbers to bid the deceased farewell. Evangelists Mike and Gloria Bamiloye, Kolade Segun-Okeowo, Seyi-Pedro Adetola, Damilola Mike-Bamiloye, Victor and Franca Olukoju, Adeoye Omoniyi, Opeyemi Akintunde and husband, Akin Akintunde, Isaac Femi Akintunde, Kayode Owojori, Paul-Esupofo Oriade, Tolafunmi Adebayo, Ayo Cineman Olaleye, Tolu Shoneye, Stella Otohibi, Mojisola Ogunlana, Moji Ogunlana, Gbenga Ayoola, Adeola and Adedamola Salako, Philip Olaleye, Shina Lanre and others were in attendance.
Our correspondent further reports that the attendees gathered outside the church to pay their final respects as the body was carried to it’s final resting place, where the atmosphere was one of the profound sadness and yet, also a celebration of a life that was lived to the fullest.
Many attendees shared warm embraces, offering words of support and condolence to Kayode Babalola’s grieving family.
A grand reception was held at Rose Events center after the funeral, providing an opportunity for friends and loved ones to gather and continue in the celebration of a life well spent, the reception fostered a sense of community and healing as attendees were well fed with some pleasant music playing in the background.
Gospel Film News prayed that God console the family he left behind, and may Pa. Olapade Babalola’s memory serves as a guiding light for all who were fortunate enough to have known him.
