Filmmakers Kolade, Sunmbo Segun-Okeowo Gets Chieftaincy Title

As part of the impacts made in Simawa community, Ogun State, gospel filmmakers Evang. Kolade and Sunmbo Segun-Okeowo are to be given chieftaincy title.

 

In a statement obtained by Gospel Film News recently, His Royal Highness Oba Olugbenga Gbadebo Sonuga, Ogbodo 1 who is also the Fadesewa of Simawa will confer KSO and SSO AARE ASOLUDERO & YEYE ASOLUDERO of Simawa kingdom.

 

The installation as AARE ASOLUDERO & YEYE ASOLUDERO of Simawa kingdom will take place during the commemoration of the 16th Coronation Anniversary of Oba Olugbenga Gbadebo coming up on Saturday 10th of November 2023 at Simawa, Ogun State, while the Iwuye Ceremony will take place on Saturday, 10th of February 2024 which coincidentally is SSO’s 50th Birthday Celebration.

The statement signed by KSO reads I part: “Please kindly be informed that His Royal Highness Oba Olugbenga Gbadebo Sonuga, Ogbodo 1 The Fadesewa of Simawa will confer on us, the Honourary Traditional Chieftaincy titles of AARE ASOLUDERO & YEYE ASOLUDERO of Simawa Kingdom during the commemoration of his 16th Coronation Anniversary on Friday Saturday November 10 & 11, 2023 at Simawa. While the installation takes place during the Coronation 16th Anniversary, the Iwuye Ceremonies will take place on Saturday 10, February 2024 to coincidence with the 50th Birthday Celebrations of SSO. Please kindly take note of the dates. Formal invitation will follow soon.”
