ANCEDRAM Kwara members narrowly escaped death

…as ANCEDRAM baruteen inaugurated

It was indeed a narrow escape as members of All Nigeria Conference of Evangelical Drama Ministers, ANCEDRAM, Kwara state chapter were seriously involved in an auto crash.

Gospel Film News gathered that the accident happened on the early hours of Saturday on their way to baruteen local government in Kwara state.

Baruteen local government is six hours journey from Ilorin which is the state capital.

According to a report sent to our news room by the state secretary, Mayowa Samuel titled ‘Our Testimoy’, the inauguration of Baruten local chapter was done on the 7th of July 2018 and was not a joke as enemy had so much in mind for finally turned out to be a great success.

The state secretary disclosed that the programme had the state executives and some executives from other local chapter turned out  being the first outing of the newly elected state executives. It was a journey that started out with two space buses from ECWA chapel, challenge.

“We were on the journey when the devil raised his ugly head, one of the vehicles had a serious accident, I can’t tell how serious the accident was but two of our brethren were thrown out of the window when the vehicle made a 360° rotation. But God showed up, there was only slight injuries,” he noted.

“The devil was out to create fear in our heart so that ANCEDRAM WOULD NOT GET TO BARUTEN, BUT HE MISSED IT, the victims were treated and sent back home. In fact, the injured army officials were  still ready to go but space constrained us 2Timothy 1:8.”

“To the glory of God, we got to Okuta after four in the evening for the inauguration which was a great success. The inauguration had about seventy four (74) people in attendance including six (6) ministers,” Samuel stated.

It was reported that Baruteen Local Chapter election was done after the inauguration and nine (9) executives were voted into office ranging from:
1. Coordinator
2. Secretary
3. Asst. Secretary
4. Prayer Coordinator
5. P.R.O
6. Treasurer
7. Financial Secretary
8. Welfare
9. Special Duty

“The Lord took everyone back to his destination on Sunday 8/7/2018 safe and sound to his glory alone,” he concluded.
