The producer of Dark Moments movie series, Converter Adeyemo has said a President Who Avoids Addressing His People But Deploys Military Forces Against Them Shouldn’t have been Entrusted With Leadership.
In an exclusive chat with Gospel Film News, Adeyemo stressed that he is deeply concerned about the situation in Nigeria that it troubles him to see that despite knowing about the corruption among politicians the Nigerian military continues to support and follow their orders even if it means harming the citizens they are supposed to safeguard.
“When will this self centered mindset come to an end in Nigeria? Perhaps when the violence directly affects the homes and families of both former military personnel forcing everyone to acknowledge their role in the destruction of Nigeria and its people,” he asked.
He told Gospel Film News that the importance of money pales in comparison to the future of Nigerians, which is currently being decimated on a scale.
“The devastation persists without any signs of recovery. Within the military there are individuals contributing to chaos through actions. Resorting to violence against civilians may eventually lead to a scenario where the populace becomes too formidable for the military’s control,” he added.
He further stressed that: “A President who avoids addressing his people and instead deploys military forces against them should not have been entrusted with leadership. What we are witnessing is a mockery of democracy. For people it may be best to consider leaving Nigeria—whether by foot or by air—, as a means of seeking safety and stability. The elderly, in Nigeria are plagued by a sense of greed and a focus on poverty lacking foresight, for the future of their country.”
