A New Era begins as African Drama Ministers and Moviemakers association set for official inauguration.

A Release signed by the association’s Vice Co-Ordinator of Media and Publicity, Paul-Esupofo Oriade and obtained by Gospel Film News the association will be inaugurated Friday August 3, 2024 by 3:00 PM (Nigerian Time) at 1ST International Drama Ministers Conference 2024 by IAEDM (Virtual)

According to the release, The African Fellowship of Evangelical Drama Ministers and Moviemakers (AFEDRAM) inauguration will cap off the 1st International Drama Ministers Conference organized by the International Association of Evangelical Drama Ministers and Moviemakers (IAEDM), which has been running throughout the week and will culminate on Saturday.

“AFEDRAM brings together national Christian drama associations from across the African continent, offering a unified platform for collaboration, spiritual growth, and excellence in drama and film ministry. The fellowship includes key organizations such as ANCEDRAM from Nigeria, who is the grandfather of all other associations, the Senegal Drama Ministers Association, and other national bodies from The Gambia, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Cameroon, and beyond, the release revealed .

It further stated that: “Under the guidance of IAEDM, AFEDRAM is poised to use the medium of drama to spearhead a global revival and spread the Gospel through AFRICA. Some of the countries in focus are:

“The inauguration ceremony will not only feature keynote addresses from itinerant evangelist who is working on the African terrain, Evangelist Felix Bankole, Pastor Dare Jeremiah, and Evangelist Mike Bamiloye, but will also unveil the Executive Council of AFEDRAM. This newly formed council will lead the fellowship in its mission to empower drama ministers and foster creative excellence across the continent.
AFEDRAM aims to be a transformative force, leveraging evangelical storytelling through drama to inspire, challenge, and uplift audiences worldwide. The media and public are encouraged to join this significant event by participating in the virtual ceremony via Zoom,” the release said.

The African Fellowship of Evangelical Drama Ministers and Moviemakers (AFEDRAM) is an organization dedicated to unifying national Christian drama associations across Africa. By fostering collaboration, providing training, and promoting creative excellence, AFEDRAM seeks to use the art of drama to spread the Gospel and make a positive impact on society.
